In the last two year, and since the launch of KAPU, heritage has seen an increase in the offer of projects developing a blockchain to manage, share and protect dataset.
This half data workshop will introduce participants on what the blockchain is, how does it works and how, even if the technology is still in development, its application to the heritage sector could potentially revolutionise data storage, preservation and dissemination.
Everyone with an interest in databases and blockchain is welcome to attend and will have the opportunity to test the latest user interface developed by the Kapu project and contribute to the ongoing development.
Notes: Participants are encouraged to attend with their own laptop.
