The CAA 2019 Call for Papers and Posters is OPEN and will remain open until 11:59 PM CET 10th of October, 2018 (Wednesday).
Please go to the OCS website to log-in and submit your paper or poster abstract clicking here, or by clicking on the Submissions/Registration in top menu bar. You will need to log-in: go to User Home, click on CAA 2019 and then look for the Submission link at the bottom of the page under the Conference Information header. You can select your session from the Track drop-down menu. You will find a list of the proposed sessions (called “Tracks” in OCS) here. Information about conference in the OCS together with submission link and track policies list can be find here.
The standard paper length is 20 minutes; however, some sessions differ from this scheme. In such cases the length of your paper will be decided by the track director. Please indicate the corresponding author if there is more than one author. CAA allows one corresponding author for each paper, and the corresponding author must be a member of the CAA International before the conference begins. It is expected that the corresponding author will present the paper at the conference. The corresponding author does not necessarily have to be the first author. CAA allows an individual to be the corresponding author for only one paper and to be the first author for only one paper, author on multiple papers and may also serve in other capacities (e.g., session organizer, round-table discussant, panelist, lighting/flash talk presenter, poster presenter, etc.).
Following the steering committee meeting for CAA 2018, it was decided to create a session for all student and early-career researchers who wish to present at CAA for the first time, aimed predominately for those who may not wish to present in alternate specialised thematic sessions. This session will only be open to students and early-career research with all student papers being automatically considered for our annual Nick Ryan Bursary.
If you are proposing a poster, please select the Poster Session option from the Track drop-down menu. The Poster Session is not connected with thematic sessions and it is open for any posters in the scope of CAA International.
Abstracts for papers and posters should not exceed 250 words excluding session title, author names, affiliations, and email addresses as well as 3 – 5 keywords. Please note that the official language of the conference is English and all submissions should be in English. If English is not your first language, it is strongly suggested that you have a fluent English speaker to review your abstract before submission.
