Due to delays with opening OJS submissions for our conference we have decided to extend CFP to Saturday – 30th of November. We have been informed that OJS will be available within next few days, as soon as it will be ready, a guideline for uploading papers will be issued.
We are pleased to announce that the Call for Papers for the Proceedings of the 2019 Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology Conference (CAA 2019) is now opened.

We have prepared an additional museum visit for our attendees. This will be a trip to a very unusual museum as it is located below the Market Square were the excavated underground structures were turned into archaeological park. The guided tour is completely free, you just have to registered here.
The visit will take place on Wednesday 24th, we have prepared two groups (30 people each), one will start at 8:15 PM and the other at 8:30 PM. The duration of the tour is approximately 90 minutes.

Furthermore, we have booked a guided tour around one of the most interesting scientific facilities in Kraków, SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Centre, which houses one of the most advance synchrotrons in the world. If you are interested in science, want to know more about synchrotron light and get a glimpse of experiments conducted by this research centre you can register for the tour here.
We have booked two tours on 25th of April (25 people each). One group will start at 9.00 AM the other at 7.00 PM.

The journey from city centre should take about 30-40 minutes. The fastest way is using trams number 18 or 52. The guided tour around synchrotron will take about an hour.

After a lot of hard work, we have finally prepared the official program of our meeting! You can find online version of it here. The program includes a complete list of all sessions and presentations plus all the necessary information about accompanying events. Printed version will be provided at the conference for all the attendees.
Just a few days left to register for CAA 2019 in Kraków. Registration will close on Sunday March 31st! Remember that this is the final deadline, as the option of paying registration fee directly at the conference would not be available.
We already have 350 registered participants and we are looking forward to see you all in Kraków!
We received questions regarding the possibility of registering and paying for the conference directly at the reception desk during the event. Unfortunately, this will not be possible for CAA 2019. The only way to registered is through the system. We advise that you take this into consideration and apologise in advance for the trouble that this may cause.
